For Those Who Wander

by Tate LaBianca   Jul 21, 2006

For those who wander
in the dark of Night

Shielding their eyes,
away from the Light

I've walked with you
For many years

A mask of stone
has hid my tears

I've been so cold
so very long

But to go back now,
would feel too wrong.

Sometimes I wish
with all my heart

To return to you
and play that part

But I'm not strong,
I won't pretend

And I never want
to see this end

I've finally found
a place to rest

And waiting now
is my greatest test

But now, I've lost
my will to rhyme

So I'll continue
another time.

Love be with you,
my shaded ones

And may your wandering
one day be done.
