Poem's of a Broken Heart

by Jonathan   Jul 23, 2006

This grief overwhelems me
Creates stain-less tears into me eyes
Yet here I lie with my fears to tuck me in
Try to remember my last happy memory with you
Somehow you smothered each single one
I loved you and gave you my heart,
Believed it'll last til the end of time
Now the crime to break one's heart
Is what left my soul to it's grave
Words like "i love you" turned into "whatever"

Why can't I let myself tell lies and watch you die everyday?

Now look at what we have created
All our passion became an evil hatred
All I asked was for you to be there
But when I cried, you were deaf,
Now I stand on the deep end
Just give me one push and we'll call it quits
There's nothing more you can do,
And now I miss you,
But I know you don't miss me
What more is there to say,
Like I said,
I've just worned out the words.
