I'm SORRY !!

It was just an ordinary day.
Just walking down the street.
Doing everything my way.
Walking, walking, walking until I heard something crunch under my feet.

I look down, the poor cockroach
"Did I squish you?" I asked the bug.
Its skin was the color of copper
And around it was a pool of blood.

Then from a cloud in the sky
Light came down and spread all around
The bug grew wings and began to fly.
My mouth dropped and my eyes became wide.

Oh, curse these dirty feet!
"I'm...I'm a MURDERER!"
Squishing a poor, innocent bug on the street.
Oh no, now I must suffer...

I ran down the street
Kicked open the doors.
And I said to the man
"I'm guilty I tell you! Look! The victim is on the floor!"
