A Delayed Heart Beat

by lOVER   Jul 24, 2006

Reaching for his last gasp for air, while lying stone cold on the floor,
confused yet scared , not knowing of how he got there.
Thoughts racing around.
feelings constantly being thrown at his heart.

His Piercing emerald eyes wondering around the room, examining of where he is.
Closing his eyes for one last time.
it's like the curtains falling for the last show down.

The tension and troubles releasing from his body.. as the life escapes..
his heart from a racing beat,
turns into a morphed delay..

his heart becomes a louder clearer, more harsh sound..
his hearing becomes so soft.. tranquility covering his mind and body..
A scream of help emerging in the distant, feet running at high speed to wards him..
He's shutting down now.. he's leaving..
he takes one last sigh..
with cold air rushing out of his cracked lips..

Theres a beauty in a corpse, in which nothing else can compare with..
theres such a silence of serenity that no person is able to create...
until their last breathe..
