Pierce Through My Soul

by AmazinglyEmpty   Jul 24, 2006

I'm struggling,
To fight it,
But no matter how much,
I work or strive,
I always end up,
Looking back.

Everytime,
I seem to finish,
Worked my way,
Through every evil,
Showing how much,
I can work on it.

But even sometimes,
It never works out,
Because that looking back,
Pulls you in,
Drags you back,
And pierces your soul.

You struggle against it,
And wish you had ran,
Ran as fast as you could,
Away,
Far away,
To prove your worthy.

It grabs your neck,
And holds on tight,
Doesn't want to give in,
Wants you dead,
And show you how,
You should die.

Your air is cut off,
And your body so numb,
It harshly lets go,
Watches you slide,
To the floor,
And die.

Never look back,
I whisper to myself,
Because it just,
Might make you cry,
Or just might pierce your soul,
And kill you.
