It's Me

by elise   Jul 24, 2006

I'll love you until the day will end,
and mention me once more,
I'll love you until the river bends,
for I can't be too sure.
I'll see you until the moon won't set,
and the flames of love do die,
I'll see you until the gambler won't bet,
and sadly goes to spy.
I'll hear you until life does leave,
and chances do run out,
I'll hear you until the leaf won't breeze,
without there's any doubt.
I'll feel you until the day is new,
and kites will fly so high,
I'll feel you until snow is dew,
and pigs will fly right by.
I'll taste you until the mountains fall,
It's me, my love, right here,
I'll taste you until the light does stall,
and fresh runs out of tears.
I'll smell you until life is no more,
and words seem not to heal,
I'll smell you until danger's in store,
it's you I only feel.
I'll love you until my hopes do crash,
and time does fall in,
I'll love until the flowers dash,
I'll love you, my lasting sin.
