Was i wrong?

I let you walk out the door,
i did but know i just dont care anymore.
i told you ill always be here for you,
now that i look back, i dont see how that can be true,
we arnt together anymore,
now your just pushing me away even more than you was berfore.
so what would you do if you was me?
would you wait for the person you love or try to move on with another to be?
you tell me theres a chance that youll come back.
you also said you dont know when and i just cant wait around for something like that.
right now what we had is just in the past,
you said you need time but the time you need may noy be the time you have.
so now i found another and we really like each other,
so tell me, am i wrong because i moved on to another?

can someone tell me was i wrong for not waiting for her anymore?

    Thanks for the poems i really enjoy them,
    reminding me of my lost love and all we went through,
    all i can say is i'm glad for the experience i had to love,even though we lost we gained and shared a whole lot.

    Well...see the thing is that if you truley believed that your relationship wasn't going any where or that your feelings weren't the same for her any more...then it is good to move on because if you don't then it just hurts the both of you...but if you really do like/love that person....you should be able to wait for as long as it needs

    Well u can wait but who's to say u might be waiting a damn long time.So hun i know it's hard but try and move on.I'm doing it and it's not working out to well i'm still waiting for him.But he hasn't come knocking on my door so.....
