Interview

by PS   Jul 26, 2006

Empty room filled with nothing
wooden chairs, black wood desk
whitewashed walls, grimy window
the steel shrieking and the smog
brandishing its slippering fingers

door creaking, revealing a man
and dark and evil and pain
yellow red eyes glint in joy
in coming torture pain

the hot air swirls around him
sending thoughts of death
the stench of pain lingers
on the skin of all creatures

a gentle man enters this room
a diamond in a dirt puddle
earthbrown eyes, tan soft face
face of a man, a boy

he comes to speak to evil
to bargain for what is not his
the life of a lover, a friend

in the presence of the evil called
for an interview of exchange
the boy asks for what he will not get
and give something that
is never to be returned

pact with the devil, a interview
with he who takes and does not give

I loved the Faustin thing you had at the end and well every thing leading up to it.
