Thanks for the Lesson

by Erika Edgington   Jul 28, 2006

You held a fragile
heart in your hands
and you kept it
with care

Then you began
to tear it apart
and now your gone
and I'll never know
what I did wrong

You cheated on me
and I didn't deserve it
all I did was be there
but I guess that wasn't enough

Now I'm not gonna say
I hate you because
that wouldn't be true
"I still love you"

You played with
my heart and
made me
fall for you

Then you tore
me
apart

Thanks for the lesson!
