Corpse Bride

by Lenny   Jul 29, 2006

Fall down,
Oh gentle angel,
Seven steps,
To your doom,
I shall catch,
Your lifeless body,
And lay it,
Before your groom,

Tumble steady,
Perfect darling,
From the ceilings
Chandelier,
I shall mop,
Every inch of carpet,
And remove shards
From your hair,

Soar high,
From the cliff tops,
Gorgeous person,
Soar to ocean break,
I shall swim to
Your floating corpse,
And from swells
Your body take,

Tiptoe graceful,
Oh great beauty,
From the roof beam,
To the floor,
And pirouette
to my arms
Where well dream
Of evermore,

And dangle limp,
My soft seductress,
From elevated
Recline,
And in the fleeting
Moments,
Your sweet knots
I shall unbind,

Timeless love for you,
Corpse bride,
I mean my vows I do,
But even death
Shall not part us
Its death-defying love
For you.
