Cold hearted love

by DALvamp   Jul 29, 2006

Sometimes she hides,
the dark calms her fears,
now if he were only here,
To dry all her tears

But he left one day,
Fell in love with another,
And there she lies,
Alone in a gutter

A knife in her hand,
To heal a broken heart,
Something she should have done,
From the very start.

The voices are fighting,
"His love wasn't true"
While the others say,
"Of course he loved you"

Love is a funny thing,
It'll watch you rise and fall,
While it mocks at your attempt to stand.
And does nothing at all

So she finally had enough,
No more blood, tears and pain,
For once this last choice,
Won't be in vain

The choice she makes,
A blood coated knife,
She sat in that gutter,
And took her own life
