Best friends

Stuck in sadness,
In misery,
Trying to ignore the fact,
That everyones ignoring me.
People see me as a ghost,
The wind,
Someone who can't fit in,
And its like I don't even exist,
My whole life I've been hiding in hopelessness.
And if it weren't for you,
This poem would end in suicide,
Because in my shallow dreams,
You are the only one still by my side.

    This poem is SO good. I realize how much friends can mean, and right now i only have like ONE really true friend... and yeah... i can TOTALLY relate. i mean...everybody keeps acting as though you're some freak or something, and sometimes it just gets to you... marvelous poem.
