Moonight (sonnet)

by alyssa   Jul 30, 2006

Her deep blue eyes glisten in the moonlight
The wind blows her long black hair, wild free
The stars in the sky seem so much more bright
I know it is because she is with me

Smile, she smiles it brights up my day
I touch her gentle lips, soft crimson red
She dances amid the trees as they sway
And I know without her I will be dead

I watch her as she looks up at the sky
I can see how happy shes to be here
As she looks at the shooting stars past by
My world all of a sudden seems so clear

Im lost in her magic the spell is bound
My life is the complete, the angel Ive found.
