Rhymes were different and not forced, description of beautiful times then sad alone times seem to portray many families wanting that family time but never getting it. I liked the metaphor for sadness and one of the better friendship poems that go into detail instead of writing I,I,I,I and so on. I liked it alot.

Very nicely written... The dinner part sounds like my family.. Always alone. I'm sorry that your family seems so distant, but it happens.. Most families are getting like that unfortuneatly.. Great write though.

It's hard to raise a family properly now a days. Life is just getting harder and harder because people are demanding more and people are wanting more. We do this to ourselves. I know what you mean about parents are always out working. It sucks. A really nice poem Noni.
