Laying in the dark at night,
Listening to sounds around myself.
Wanting to hear the rain hitting the ground,
It makes such a soothing sound.
Living my life day by day,
Not knowing what is coming my way.
Hoping that I will see her again,
Holding her close at hand,
I have a few friends that help me along.
But the one person that helps the most,
Is the girl I love that is back in Iowa.
Not knowing what will happen.
Will we be together forever?
Only time will tell.
But the love I have for her is so strong.
The look in her eyes can say a lot,
Even when she does not talk,
So many feelings that I have for her!
But how to tell her,
Where to start?
I can't eat or sleep that much.
She is on my mind all the time,
All I do is talk about her,
Don't know what I would do if I ever lost her.
She is the first girl I have ever fell in love with.
She likes to tease me.
Even though I do it to her,
So I guess what goes around comes around.
But one day we might get married,
That is if she says yes to me.
That will be a very special day for the both of us.
But until then I will just continue to dream,
Dreams of us will last forever.
From the times I held her,
To the last kiss that I have ever gave her,
