Give You A Phone

by Mharee   Aug 1, 2006

Sitting in the hallway,
wondering what is true,
tapping at my pencil,
I can only think of you.

You, my best friend
the person I confide in
a person to which I know
I feel so very akin.

I'm looking at your desk
I missed you today.
I always have to wonder
just why you went away.

Nothing ever changes,
but nothing stays the same,
I hope that you will always
be there to keep me tame.

The clock it is a ticking,
I can't wait to get home,
the first thing I will do,
is simply give you a phone
