Here's To You

by Alex Laham   Aug 1, 2006

Drawn in by something that doesn't exist,
Just another case of mistaken identity,
This is for all the times we haven't kissed,
Grasp the moment, here's to you and me.

Never thought this could happen,
My heart has never been so sore,
and just when I think it's over,
You put me through so much more.

Who are you trying to fool?
You're all alone, you're on your own.
What are you trying to do?
You're all alone, you're on your own.
Here's to you,
Here's to you.

Suddenly, you let go,
Of the girl I used to know.
Where have those days gone?
Where's the girl I could always depend on?

People change with every setting sun,
you think something is over,
when it's really just begun.
A new chapter, to a new book,
So here's to you, & everything you took.
