And the Beauty (It's In My Eyes)

by FenderGrl   Aug 3, 2006

I over thought and I would break loose
but you never knew it was unreal.
And the beauty- it's in my eyes...
so vile; why did you stay?
I'd say the journey was perfect
the ride was so worth it
and there are moments I just glare into a blackhole
why did you stay?
and it seems like yesterday that you would faint on my lap...
And the beauty- it's in my eyes...
I would fall asleep on the spot where you died a million deaths
why did you stay?
and I'll leave you rotted but still you held no grudge
you loved me more, why did you stay?
and now I'd die... for you
but you'd never pull the trigger
why wouldn't you?
and the beauty- it's in my eyes...
where it's always been for you and all the while
it will no longer be vile.
Why did you stay?
I, not able to trust
for the beauty was in my eyes...
or so you thought...
but that beauty- it has been altered.
Why did you stay?
I, so afraid of repulsion
for it might be my fate out of bound
will it come back around?
and I would faint on your lap...
and die a million deaths-- I will stay.
your eyes, so vile...
I'm clensed forever more...
Like you, I'm ever so wise...
And the beauty- it was in your eyes.
