Single but not looking

I'm single but not looking
scheduling but not booking
selecting but not choosing
lost but not losing

i know what i want but i don't want it yet
my stakes are getting higher but i won't bet
I'm done with guys but i haven't stopped shopping
my mouth is closed but i haven't stopped talking

I'm sick of the heartbreak but there's room for one more
i closed all my windows but left open the door
i gave up on love but it hasn't given up on me
i locked up the chest but didn't throw away the key

forever won't come but i haven't stopped waiting
tension isn't building but I'm still anticipating
I'm walking away but turning back around
my smile has faded but isn't quite a frown

I'm single and not looking
scheduling but booking
I'm hard to get but fun to pursue
I'm normally a flirt, but I'm not coming after you

    I love this. i cant even explain what i love about it. i like the idea of how for example:

    you locked it up, but havent given up. i hope you understand what i mean. anyway.. i just think the whole poem was fantastic. keep up the great work.
