As the stars twinkle above the night sky
I look up searching for that one special guy
I know he's out there
But I don't know where
All I know is there is someone out there who cares
He won't care if I'm ugly or fat
The first time we meet
I will know that
I'll know he cares by the look in his eyes
His warmth will make feel good deep inside
I won't care if he's different or weird
As long as I know he's there for me when I shed a tear

And tell me we will never part
He'll tell me I'm beautiful and not just hot
He'll kiss me in front of his friends on the spot
If his friends don't like me

It's always there
And when I look up at the sky
