Mistake and Miracle

She was the first i ever loved,
and it was a love i had to escape,
but i have never regreted,
any choice more than this,

I chose to move away,
to try to forget that love,
but i learned that love,
is not something to be forgotten,

I tried to tell her i was sorry,
but i learned she had moved away,
I kept asking all who I knew,
How to find her some way,

This morning i got a hold of her,
and told her the truth,
and although it has been 13 months,
she still loved me too.

    I loved this poem it reminded me of what i went through,but it was five years ago that i made the same mistake and left the one i truely loved and after all this time about 2 months ago he got ahold of me though a friendon the computer he wanted me back he still loved me after 5 years so i packed my clothes and moved from ohio to west virginia to be with him and our kids.
