Death, Never Us Part

by AmazinglyEmpty   Aug 4, 2006

Death grabs me, and holds me tight,
Holds me close,
Not giving up,
A hard fight.

It wants me, and cherishes me,
Hoping that I will stay with it,
Not wanting me to leave,
Telling me to die,
And stay with him.

Don't leave, he screams, stay with me,
I'll love you,
Like no one else did,
Cherish you,
Like none did.

I'll care for you in the best way,
Love you for all you are,
Never hate you, like others did,
I'll love you, like you want,
And care for you,
Like no one did.

I gaze upon, this masterpiece,
Watching slowly,
As he creases my face,
Hoping for me,
To answer yes.

I look in his eyes, and think of his offer,
Think about what he will give,
What others did not,
What they neglected,
And what I want.

I look to death, and nod my approval,
Take me away, let's ride into the night,
Love me the way, I always wanted,
Don't let go, so hold on tight.

He pulls me up, into his chariot,
We ride across,
The hell risen skies,
Caring for each other,
Like no one ever did.
