My reason to live

I thought I knew what pure love is,
I thought I knew it well,
a gentle touch and tender kiss,
a fictitious fairy tale.

But then you came into my life,
turned it upside down,
made me feel so brave, alive,
vivacious as a springtime lawn.

And now I know that love is more,
it's never-ending flow,
like summer sun or winter snow,
a balm to a painful sore.

I feel the heat into my heart,
every time we meet,
I feel the look of angel eyes,
I feel my strong heartbeat.

Therefore I know that I love you,
no matter what you say,
you are the one worth fighting for,
a reason to survive the day.
