You Are

by Christine   Aug 6, 2006

You come near, and my breath freezes in my lungs.
My heart stops and my blood ceases to flow.
You're a disease that consumes me, eating away at my insides.
I can taste bile as I choke on the words I cannot speak to you.
I cannot see you, for you blind me with a single glance.
There is so much pain within me that you cause!
And yet, you are the only one that can relieve me of this suffering.
You are my destroyer and my savior. You are my love, my pain.
You are my life. You are my death.
You are everything.
