Like knife

by Lenny   Aug 6, 2006

Like knife,
Like dagger,
Like jagged blade,
Piercing, ripping,
And thrusting in,
Rough circles forced,
Such violent rhythm,
In gruff attempt to reclaim his own,
Powerful hand grips and struggles,
Cutting, feasting,
On tender skin,
The pain, privation,
Labour, sweat,
The screaming, the submission,
And the painful end,
Then the tears, the blood,
The dying,
The breakdown, the scars,
And memories to heal,
The smug grin, the bloodbath,
The dismissal of memory,
And that cold,
Heartless man,
Like knife,
Like dagger,
That cold heartless man,
Just lives on. . .
