Left with Nothing

by Jennifer   Aug 7, 2006

First things were perfect, perfect as can be
Then I realized the things she wanted
More than just me

Maybe I thought this would get old but it did not
The love we once had was quickly gone
Yet just yesterday I remember

The sweet kisses like candy,
Whispers kept in my ear,
Love she use to give

Now you gave up the things you loved
One of them was me
Look at you now, all you have left is your
Nice car, model boy, and an empty heart

The heart that has torn us apart
All because you just saw me as a card
Now I truly realize the love you gave was nothing

Nothing is something that can’t hurt me
Nothing is all you are, to me
Nothing is the material things you have

Now my love is nothing else you get, want or have.
