The Dark Oasis

by Tiffany   Aug 7, 2006

Blood rain drips from the skies
of magical demise,
drenching the land
of barren white sand.

Black clouds loom,
casting shadows of gloom.
In the midst of it all
flows a stygian waterfall.

In the cryptic cove
of waters deep
lies a fairy in dreary sleep.

Her wings are teal,
her smile is broken,
around her fragile neck
she wears a token.

Into the sand
seeps a rainbow of red
with a pot of knives at the end,
the fairy is dead.
