Vampire's Kiss

by Natasha   Aug 9, 2006

Vampires gather
In your wake.
Wanting feebly,
Your soul to take.

Come, my army,
Come, my clan.
Be you child,
Or be you man.

You walk, determined,
Toward my throne.
We smell your fear,
We know you're alone.

You ask the question
All have asked,
"Will you change me?"
We all laugh.

"Of course we will,"
A minion cries.
You walk to him,
He laughs and sighs.

"Ask our leader,"
A woman pouts.
I look and say,
"Shut up, you louts!"

"This one is good,
We need recruits."
"Go to the alter,"
Another hoots.

We give you something
For the pain.
I walk to where
Your body's lain.

"Be very still,"
I tell you this
And pierce your neck
With a vampire's kiss.
