Empty Cage

by Ricardo   Aug 10, 2006

Let go is the hardest thing to do.
But if you truly love, give her wings to fly away.
No mater how empty the cage of my heard
It will always remember how first love felt like.

I gave you wings, and you flue away,
Knowing that you may find a better cage.
With rain in my eyes, I realise that you're
Not coming back.

Now I've move on, hopping that one day
Without knowing, the ghost of love
Will find the way to my empty cage.

With what is left of my heart, I wish you the best.
I just hope if he gives you wings, as I did.
I will always remember you.
So long, fare well.
