Not goodbye

I was mad at god
I hated death
I miss my best friend
I had to say goodbye
I had to let go
I thought it would be easy
It wasn't
But I can finally laugh
For real
I can smile and not
Have to hide tears or pain
I am not mad at god
I still do hate death
But I didn't have to say goodbye
I just had to say see you later.
