Burn The Rose

by Aline   Aug 13, 2006

Climb on the top to be
Climb on the rocks and see
What hides in their souls
What hides in thy sea
Swear thy evil away
Swear thy black day
Careless to the rose
Planted when you prayed
Defeat the sky
And the time you soar high
Burn the white rose
And put thy wings to fly
Scare the time that arrives
Yesterday, today, and tonight
Pass her faster than you could imagine
And throw the impureness aside
I swear I love you
More than my pen filled with truth
More than the paper I write on
The paper that is the fool.
A brother in a heart of mine
A friend with a poor heart blind
Give me the cup
To burn the red rose by wine.
Defeat me not from your soul
And from the power in your goal
I am not a flower
I am the white rock on the shore.
I am not the pill under the sand
I am not the green thin hand
I am not the sugar and the gold
Nor a singer in thy band
Bring the fire and burn
Burn the rose and confirm
Confirm thy secret in your vein
Filled with tears and concern.
Leave them in the middle of the sea
To pure their only fear
Come to my warmed arms
And my truths only breathe.
I shall never fall in love
With majesties thrown above
I shall never kiss you goodbye
Since my soul in your hands will starve.
When the sadness you touch
Bring me your spirit to hold
Since your spirit means much
When we sit in the house of gold.
I promise to keep you my prince
Burn the rose, burn the hints
Burn the blackness in your soul
Burn me when you burn the whole
Come, kiss me but not goodbye
I think I heard my name from the sky
It could not be Satan, of course not.
It is God, it is time to die…
