Middle of the Sea

by Aline   Aug 13, 2006

So far, so far away
A deal is not to be made
Could I hold your soul
And swear thy name
I wait for a truth
And though you are far to be
Far in the deep blue
Drinking the blood of me
Delete me not from your essence
Delete me not from your mind
Not from the heart
And the lips liking the wine
You are not defeated
But still I know you not
And still I hold thy secret
In the hands of no slot
Care less to my past
And to the lies under my clothes
And to a truth that won't last
While I water the black rose.
I know you very well
And I wait the moments to fly
And reach your hands to be my shell
From the thunder and its cry
Could you hold me now
And till the endless day
And hang me on the moon
To play the guitar's sway?
Could you present me a flower
When no flowers are to be held
When you take me on the highest towers
When yesterday they fell
Can you take me to a place
Where I can forget everything?
And soar me to some place
Where your soul would be my king?
Can you kiss me to taste the love
Hidden in the walls of my truth?
Could you hold me for perpetuity
Not to miss your sweetest care?
Could you put me the ring
And wear me the white dress
For my only love to truly confess
And swear a truth not to change
And even it shall not rain
Bring me the water from heaven
To pure my only pain
Shall I trust you now
And wait till thy infinity
And never blind my eyes
To soar to you and reach thy sea
And kiss your tender
Of the living spirit in you
Not to lie
Not to hate
Not to kill
Thy only truth...
