Pen Pushing Killer (About War)

by Levi   Aug 14, 2006

The festering smell lingers on the winds breath,
An army of men who were once friends now dead.
This is what war does bring only pain, suffering and death.
For peace and for freedom their cowardly leader said,

Because he is a pen pusher sitting miles away from the fight.
He can just sign off a document and kill 20,000 people or so,
Just because he doesn't see the deaths still don't make it right.
He just launches a missile or sends men to die either way he never goes.

What about the men that gave their lives to save their family and friends,
You can't just sign a piece of paper to make it better again...

You can still do all this with out regret or remorse,
But you can't heal the wounds that your actions so deeply caused.
