We were never together.
Just good friends that fell in love
despite the obstacles at the moment.

I loved you. You loved me.
A wonderful relationship that
will never be forgotten.

I reminisce on the sweet remarks
that left your lips and caressed my ears
with its everlasting melody.

But time soon came
for us to realize it was
never meant to be.

Difficult challenges proved
to have diminished the bond
we had built based on love and care.

We never were able to see
each other considering the
physical distance we shared.

And the words we said could not
have been supported by actions
non existent now and then.

I still miss you every night.
And I always wonder
what could've been.

You're still in the back of my mind.
You're still the one that
I'm always thinking of.

And I'll always remember that
