It was just for a second,
I closed my eyes,
To catch my breath and feel calm.
But i looked back around,
Everything's changed,
And I'm at the eye of the storm.

Cant hit rewind,
Cant go back to the start,
Cant wake myself up from this dream.
I'm falling apart,
I'm tumbling down,
And no one can hear me scream.

My worlds crumbling to pieces.
I'm grasping at straws.
I just cant hold it together.
I can hear wails in the wind,
And whispers in the rain,
They're haunting me forever.

Cant erase the past,
Cant turn back time,
Cant find a way to be me.
My history is haunting,
Memories reminding,
That I can never be free.
