Nightwalkers

by Jo   Aug 15, 2006

Why must it burn when you shine down on me? You my external skin grow dark. I flee to the darkness to get away from you, yet you follow me everywhere I go. Why do you have to stalk me into my darkness? No one can escape your harmful rays. You get through the glass of our windows. We try to cover them, but you don’t give up and break through our only protection. You create homicide on our kind. That is why we come out at night and sleep in the day.
