Silence is so loud when it's all you ever hear,
Cranking up your music, hoping to disappear.
So much left to do, so much left to say,
But you just turn your back & walk away.

Maybe you're just nervous, maybe you're afraid,
Not sure of what to do, so hoping it'll all fade.
You can't just will it away, it's not that easy,
Everyone knows it's there, it's obvious to see.

Time makes it harder, give in before it's too late,
