Till the last dying beat of my heart...

by Bethan   Aug 16, 2006

Had I the wordsmith of a thousand great poets,
Or the skill of a hundred swordsmen,
If I had the power to express my heart,
To transcribe my feelings through a pen,
Still these my love would not be enough,
To scale the depths of my emotion,
Nor would I be any more able to describe,
How deeply your love has touched my heart,
Nor would I be better equipped to imagine,
A day when our lives have to part,
Even Shakespeare himself, the master of sonnet,
My feelings he could never impart,
For my love for you will grow deeper and stronger,
Till the last dying beat of my heart.
