Sweet Summer

by Sami   Aug 18, 2006

Oh sweet summer
i never knew you could be so bitter.
your warm waters drown my heart
for you, i would give forever.
my heart aches in this awkward silence,
we shouldnt have ended up this way
everything is now nothing,
hidden in the words i didnt say.
if only for every tear i\'ve shed this lonely night,
a memory would be erased
a tear in my heart forgotten
and this pain replaced.
my soul full of fear
surrounded by loneliness
afraid of this feeling we call love
i resort to selfishness.
i fend for my heart that wont stop breaking
and its almost useless to defend
my insignificant tears
signify the possiblility of the real end.
oh sweet summer
i never knew you could be so cold
but this game of love is over,
i fold.
