Stephanie's symphony of existence.

by Angel   Aug 19, 2006

Sometimes I wonder if it could be the night traveling at the speed of light that gives the moment a taste of glory

Sometimes I wonder if it is the laughs of so many faces that stop time

Could a heart wait a thousand years in agony of love and then live in existing happiness for 10 minutes?

Would you know to smile and break that heart?

Perhaps not and break a thousand?

I will close my eyes and hold you close

I will cry eternity in just one tear

But I will bleed inside with such the rage and wrath to know my heart will be mutilated when you leave my arms

Oh my love! Oh my darling!

This will be the last time I hold you and yet I'm powerless to stop my fate

Could this child be forgiven?

Or could he be forsaken by her eyes?

So curse the moment I met my love

Curse the moment I met my pain

Curse the moment I saw those eyes

But bless every second i spent with you

I do not regret, I cannot forget

You will leave and I will be left to rot

I will wish to die

I will pray for death, but it will never come

And then

After every struggle

After every fight to survive

After every breath in desperation to see the light

I will lie down and scream your name one last time

I will rise my hand into the cold air and let in one last breath

It will all be silence

The sweet poison of this silence

The insanity will soon consume my hope

I will close my eyes and accept my fate

A dead corpse I will become

The universe will pass by and cry before his child

My galaxy will scream my name in infinite agony and sorrow of its loss

All the stars shall dim their light till darkness takes upon existence

And God

God will be nothing but a lonely man

But there will be a star that shall remain as bright as the love we once had

The star shall lie next to me

Keeping me warm, waiting for me to wake up

An eternity shall pass and the star shall wait in dreadful loyalty

And then her reward shall come

While she waits and weeps before the dead child a glim of light will rise from the horizon

The star will cry in tears of joy, and when she looks again I will open my eyes to find my God has not betrayed at all

The star will have your eyes, your lips, your smile, even your face

Oh! What a fool I've been

All along you were the star

We we will meet again in a distant time

We will fall in love twice as much as the first time

I will hold you close and cry in joy

And only hope to never let you go

To never let go of this symphony of existence...
