Wherever you are

by Rheingold   Aug 22, 2006

Another lonely night
The thoughts of others occupy my mind
It brings upon me fright
Thinking you are the one I'll never find

But who exactly are "you"?
I'm starting to think you just avoid me
All I want is one clue
Just one clue, and that will make me happy

Where exactly are "you"?
The one who can make this sad life complete
I hope to make it through
To a time that I can feel your heartbeat

And I'll go...

To wherever you are
To wherever will make me whole again
Doesn't matter how far
Wherever will make these endless nights end

As the sun starts to rise
The thoughts of others occupy my mind
Wiping tears from my eyes
Thinking you are the one I'll never find

People come and go throughout life, but I believe that everyone is meant for someone. It's a cliche, but be patient. When you least expect it, you'll find who you're looking for, or (in my case) they will find you. Thank you for the comment on my poem. Great writing, good luck and don't give up!
