Winter Demon

by Vyntrrose   Aug 22, 2006

Frost and ice
a perfect slice
of winters frozen cake
skates and snow
the blizzards show
to dance upon the lake
the wind blows by
it softly sighs
the last dead leaves fall down
the footprints fade
to trees black shade
as the lone wolfs howling sounds
a piercing scream
breaks through the dream
of a red fox calmly sleeping
a knife with shine
beneath a pine
drenched with tears of weeping
the blade cut through
the flesh and drew
the stream of blood thats flowing
you see the eyes
the girl child dies
but her eyes are kind of glowing
the girl shakes
the demon wakes
it rises from inside
it grabs the tree
and rips it free
from the earth to which its tied
the cursed being
that you are seeing
that rose from deep within
will spread the fear
from there to here
the terror soon begins
The demon stands
its fiery hands
glide down its face and chest
its glowing eyes
are sharp like knives
and can pierce through bone at best
its foot goes down
without a sound
to melt the bloodied snow
its burning back
is red and black
the air around him glows
he hikes the hills
and sends the chills
to sleeping girls and boys
he thinks of them
not as friends
but as insignificant toys
he marches by
the children cry
for tonight might be their last
the demon hunts
for what he wants
its just like in the past
demons sweep through
they shan't skip you
they destroy whats in their way
they've stayed around
without a sound
since before the human days
they feed on hearts
and other parts
of children and their friends
blood slowly drips
around their lips
the terror never ends
