Mind Games~

I say your name in my head,
Over and over again,
Longing to be by your side,
But by the rules I must abide,

Why must we play these games?
They're so foolish, but you're to blame,
I refused to play them at first,
But to keep you interested I had to learn,

I have to sit here till you call me,
I can't pick up the phone,
They say if I do this,
You'll miss me even more,

I cant show you too much interest,
Or else you'll get bored,
I can't ask you for anything serious,
Or ill get scorned,

I love you,
But im not allowed to tell you that,
I want a relationship with you,
But that would be too much to ask,

Ill play the game,
But I will grow tired of it one day,
I want you by my side,
But these feelings I will not continue to hide.
