The One for Me

Sitting under the moonlit sky,
Glancing at the stars as time flew by.
Could you possibly be,
The one that was meant for me?
Watching you hair sway from side to side,
Going into a deep trance as I stared into your eyes.
I though that this was meant to be,
That you could be the one for me,
But I was wrong once again,
It was simply to good and to wrong to pretend.
I showed my love,
But you did not show it back,
And then I learned,
I simply couldn't have you back.
You taught me a very important thing about life,
That no matter how hard you try,
You Can't make a person love you.
But you can show them you love them,
And prey they love you back.
So read this poem,
