In the corner

by Kristin   Aug 31, 2006

In the corner lies a beast
The beast of many men
It's plain to see,
I am not giving in to some random family tree
You pinch and poke
You pull and twist
You've hurt my soul
You're never convinced
So I'll sit alone in my corner of dreams
With hopes that you'll see
You've finally killed me
Symbolize my writing with thoughts of your own
Take none of them for granted
For yours could sound bold
In the corner with a beast
May he feast on your memories
Parish the forgiving
