Rabbit

by AllyBear   Sep 1, 2006

I was walking down the deserted street
Not a carrot in sight for me to eat
And of course I had to go
But the wind was starting to blow
It started to rain
And at first i made no gain
It started to hail
But i would not fail
In the distance i saw the sun
I felt like i had almost won
Finally the storm had left
My ears were so numb i thought i was deaf
I saw a house loud and clear
What i saw made me fear
For what came out of that shack
Were a family of snakes ready to attack
I turned and ran towards a tree
I was so scared i almost peed
I ran up the tree with all my might
Just looking at them blurred my sight
But to my greatest delight
The snakes did not want to fight
They gave me some food
They couldn't be paid
I started the journey home
Cherishing the memories with the new friends that i made.
