Trusting Love

The first time I met you,
You were just a friend,
Now you're more,
And I hope it never ends.

At first I was scared,
And I was very shy.
Afraid of hurt,cheats and lies.

But now I feel I can trust you,
More than I could trust anyone,
Even when you're gone,
You're still with me,I'm not alone.

When I'm sad,
You help me get thru it all
When someone hurts me,
You put them thru a wall.

You protect me,
I feel so very safe and loved,
I never knew that I had meant so much.

So all I can say is thanks,
And that I give you all my love.
