Unspoken words

by Yulie   Sep 5, 2006

I new I couldn't avoid it forever,
I just wish summer could of lasted longer.
Because, I'll have to face him now or never.
But I wish I was more prepared, perhaps even stronger.

I wish I it could be easy to say these words,
As easy as it is to write this poem.
I just keep going backwards,
The words are just filled with venom.

I can't hide it any longer,
On the day, the words will just come out.
I just can help but wonder,
If I'm sure without a doubt.

I knew you were different,
But the difference was too extensive.
I thought I could be patient,
But the wait was just too massive.

Now I'm sure to see him,
My heart is feeling oh-so-blue.
All though my emotions are filled to my brim,
I doubt I'll ever say, I like you,
to him.

Hmmm...This was an OK poem. I thought it really didn't flow all that well, but I liked some of the rhymes, and the emotion you put into writing it. Great job. Keep it up. =) 4/5 xoxo
