I hated the thought of saying goodbye,
but I knew it was to come,
because you live here and I live there,
and the summer's nearly done.

I hated the thought of being parted,
from your face, your voice, your smile,
we would not be together as one,
and our love would be put on trial.

So when the day of heartbrake came,
I kissed you one last time,
I told you that I loved you,
and I'm yours and you are mine.

I layed in bed every night,
and only thought of you,
my heart was bleeding acres of love,
as I didn't know what to do.

My eyes would go all glassy,
and then bare painful tears,
you are the only one I love,
and without you creates my fears.

Every second I think of you,
it puts me in dismay,
because you're not right next to me,
you're a million miles away.
