New Life

by josh swanson   Sep 6, 2006

Lights fill this closet once darkened by despair
Our crowded room so modest, now holds the breath we bare.
Simple conversations engulfed in whats concieved
The only thought im thinking is how auspicious it all seems..

Converted from a youth, to a man humble yet perceptive,
That this obligation i must fulfill is mine and i accept it..
Given by a guardian angel that watches every move
When silent i was sang to all the hymns of Gods good mood.

Although this face to come, comes not of my decent
i give it all the love you showed me, all the dreams with good intent.
I ask it calls me father as that is what ill be
All the tears that have fallen, are from happiness your with me..

Now as i drain my soul, theres one thing you should believe
no matter what this world may throw, its in you i lead my dreams.
